Sodium Fluoride

Glucose tubes containing K2/K3 EDTA and Sodium Fluoride are specialised tubes used to preserve glucose levels in blood samples. EDTA prevent clotting, while sodium fluoride inhibits glycolysis, as without it, glucose levels can decrease by 5-7% per hour.
